What Is The Serenity Project About?

How You Can Find Your Own Place of Being

The Serenity Project is not a business or a brand.

It was a lifeline I threw myself in the thick of the storm—when chaos was loud and the vortex of fear biting at my every movement.

It started when I began to realise that healing couldn’t just be about medicine.

I wanted something more than appointments and blood results. I wanted a way to come home to myself, even when everything around me felt unrecognisable.

That’s what The Serenity Project is.

It’s not a method. It’s not a checklist. And its not a mindset— it is a place of being that’s available to everyone no matter what the diagnosis says.

In my story, serenity showed up in small ways.

In the moments when I stopped chasing my old ‘normal’ between appointments.

In the trees outside my window. In the stillness when I stopped Googling the disease, now wasn’t that a fun experience…not!

Think of it like having a fish bowl filled with muddy water, the more you stir it, the muddier it gets, there has to be a gold fish in there somewhere, but you cant see it, the more you move things around looking for it, the worse the situation gets.

Let the water in the bowl settle and sit, let it be and watch the sediment sink to the bottom, the water clears and you can see what’s going on.

The serenity project is just like that, the more I frantically looked around, asked questions or worse went to Dr google...please don’t do that with multiple myeloma, its not nice reading, the cloudier the situation got.

When I remember to sit, to be calm, to let things be...aka let that dirty sediment sink to the bottom, the more space I have to see what I can change, what I can’t and to find wisdom.

It’s not about false positivity or spiritual bypassing. It’s about noticing. Feeling. Allowing.

And it’s deeply personal.

Your version of serenity will look different to mine - and that’s the whole point.

That’s why I share ‘Just a Thought’ ideas instead of action steps.

The last thing we all need is another list of what you should be doing, and all tings you shouldn’t, but space and presence to explore your own way of being.

The Serenity Project isn’t about changing you. It’s about reminding you of what’s already there.

That place of being. That calm in the chaos. That clarity in the murk.

It’s always been in you. Let’s help you find it.
